I meant to write a review back in May. I believe I stopped here about six times or more during my vacation. These are the best donuts I’ve ever had in my entire life. Yes, the best donuts I’ve ever had in my entire life. I’m vegan and it is incredibly difficult to find anything vegan in the Midwest… especially donuts. I’ve been to bakeries and vegan specialty doughnut, places, and other states like Florida for example and nothing compares to this place. I dream about the donuts. I dream about visiting here again. I rearranged my entire vacation next year just to go back to visit The Donuttery again.

I have been trying to resolve an issue for over 2 weeks now. On Monday, June 29, 2026 I ordered mini cinnamon rolls for my daughter's wedding which was on Sunday, 7/5/26...I called and placed an order for 5 dozen mini cinnamon rolls...paid for my order and was told they would be ready at 1:00 pm on July 5, 2026 the day of the wedding...but when I went to pick them up on the wedding day...l was told they didn't have them ready because they sold them...I had ordered personal size bags which I had previously brought in to let them know the size they needed to be...so when I get there and and I'm told they don't have my cinnamon rolls, they offered the large cinnamon rolls but they would not fit in the bags...so the staff told me they could make the larger rolls the size of the minis and I trusted them to do that... out of 5 dozen only about 2 dozen were salvageable...I was told to email management someone named Aly, which I have done twice so far, I have yet to receive a response back from them. I have left several messages with multiple employees to have the owner Thai to return my call still nothing. I do feel someone should get back to me...this is not the best customer service in

I stopped by this spot on Beach Blvd and was genuinely impressed by the selection. Everything looked so fresh and inviting behind the glass. I ended up grabbing a mix of different flavors, including that vibrant green matcha-style one with the chocolate drizzle. They were absolutely delicious and hit the spot perfectly. You can tell they put a lot of care into the variety they offer here. Highly recommend checking them out if you are in Huntington Beach.

So many options and colors to choose from! The parking is quite tight so when you are approaching start, slowing down at least 500 yards away because the incoming traffic gives absolutely no room to help pull in and I was pushed out to the following street. I went with three options. Chocolate, pistachio, and the vegan Ube cake doughnut. By far, my favorite was the Ube! Unlike anything I have ever tasted. Even the crumbles gave it such a distinct look and taste! The Ube cream was perfect! As far as customer service, I will say that it wasn’t my favorite, and I truly believe that good service even with kindness goes along way, and I kind of felt a sarcastic tone with those at the front. But I will say that those in the back doing the heavy work and cleaning were the nicest people. I even saw one of the workers diligently scrub the bathroom floors, which to me gives me the impression that this place is quite spic and span in cleanliness. Ultimately: 5 out of 5

Tons of donuts. Vegan options. The vegan one with bacon was pretty top notch on texture, but a hickory smoke spritz of flavor would make it bacon-like. Tasted like a delicious frosted flake donut. The ube one was filled and the frosting on all was not too sweet which made the flavor great! The donuts tasted so fresh and tasty. Will be back.
